Privacy Statement

DONOR PRIVACY

Project Independence will always make the best efforts to protect the privacy of our donors. We hold all donor information in strict confidence and will not sell any donor information to any other organization. We will only use your information to contact you regarding your donation, update you on our progress, and inform you of any upcoming Project Independence events or fundraising campaigns.

While we love the opportunity to celebrate your donation by recognizing it online and in print, we understand that may wish to keep some or all information about your donation private.

We publish a print annual report summary that contains a donor list and keep an updated list of donors on our website. Each list will give the names of every individual and organization that contributed funds during the previous calendar year. We will not report how much was given but may report on general levels of giving. When you make a donation, you also have the option of checking the “anonymous” box when donating by mail or online. You can choose at any time, to have your name removed from one or all online and printed donor lists or from any internal mailing lists. If you have any questions or would like to be removed from one or more lists, please email deb@proindependence.org
