Together for Good - Project Iindependence and Vantage Foundation merger

Merger Overview & Update
As of July 1st 2007, the Board of Directors of Vantage Foundation has decided to join forces with Project Independence, Orange County’s first independent living program for adults with developmental disabilities, to better serve all of our clients.

There are many positive reasons to combine our two organizations, including gaining greater financial strength that will let us expand our programs and opportunities for our clients, improving management and staff efficiencies, and having a stronger combined Board that will be focused on achieving fundraising goals.

Our two organizations are quite compatible and our missions are very similar. The Regional Center has appraised of our merger plans. Of course, we are delighted that Debbie Marsteller is now serving as the executive director of both entities.

Rest assured that no client of either organization would be negatively affected by this merger.

We will keep you informed of our progress. In the meantime, we welcome your comments and invite you to contact either of us via telephone or email, or Debbie at 714 434-7870.
