More than 250 members of the Project Independence family kicked up their heels and celebrated the holidays during our fourth annual Celebration of Independence—A Holiday Ball on Friday, December 10 at the Anaheim Marriott Suites in Garden Grove. Clients, family members, board members, staff and other friends of Project Independence enjoyed a silent auction, dinner and dancing.
Four clients were also recognized for reaching significant milestones in their personal or professional lives: Paul Florreich, Steve Fox, Rose Sonderman and Danny Sword. In addition, Anaheim Marriott Suites, Linda Clark, Kings Fish House and Sonic Burger Drive-In were recognized as Champion Honorees, in acknowledgement of their commitment to Project Independence’s mission and vision. Nearly $18,000 in gross proceeds were raised to benefit Project Independence and its clients, including gifts from 27 sponsors. A special thanks to the sponsors for their tremendous support of Project Independence.
