Share Independence Campaign
You can help us spread the word through our Share Independence Campaign, sharing both your stories of how Project Independence has helped you and your family, and sharing our story with your friends and family.The more people we can reach with our message, the more independence we can share!

On behalf of the clients, families, board, volunteers and staff we THANK YOU so much for your support.

Here are a few examples of what your valued support will do:

$1,300 can enroll one participant in our Day Program for one month

$640 will subsidize a person in their own apartment for one month

$325 will enroll one person in our day program for one week

$200 will provide transportation to and from work for one person for one week

$130 will provide enrollment for one person in our day program for two days

$65 will provide enrollment for one person in our day program for one day

$40 will provide transportation to and from work for one person for one day

Download the donation form OR donate online below. Project Independence was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1977. Our IRS Federal Identification number is 95-3147421. Receipts are sent for all donations. We accept all credit cards.

Project Independence’s mission is to promote civil rights for people with developmental disabilities
through services which expand independence and choice. Project Independence provides supported employment
and independent living services for people with developmental disabilities in Orange County, California as well as
disability benefits planning, and an opportunity for disability travel and recreation through its Access to
Adventures Program. Project Independence also has services available to businesses interested in hiring employees with developmental disabilities and has a special program promoting healthy living with a disability.
