Collected Stories
Bobby Spitzberg, PI client
When I was very little I was labeled as emotionally disturbed. Then the label changed to mildly retarded. My parents didn’t care about labels, they just wanted to know how to educate me and make sure I became an independent person.

Robert Reed, PI client
In July of 2008 Robert Reed, one of our Supported Living Consumers, went in for a routine Colon Resection, and was supposed to leave the Hospital a few days later. Unfortunately, an infection took over and he ended up in the ICU for approximately a month.

Jeff Hull, PI client
J
eff moved into his own apartment 20 years ago Nov. 5th.  He was a little nervous but his friend Ted encouraged him to make the leap of faith in himself. Ted had lived in his own apartment for over a year and was doing great, with help from his Project Independence staff and family
.
