In-Kind Donations: Contributing
a good or service can benefit the mission of Project Independence
or a Project Independence event. Examples include a media donation
by Time Warner Cable for the Walk
for Independence, a donation of sporting tickets for use
as a silent auction at our Celebration
of Independence or a donation of computers for use in a
Project Independence office. Check
our Current Wish List Here. Annual
Giving Club: An annual gift of
$100, $250, $500 or more to Club
Independence will provide unrestricted support to our people.
Club Independence members also receive an invitation to an annual
reception, recognition on our website and other materials, and
additional benefits. Annual Walk:
Participate in our annual Walk
for Independence as an individual participant or sponsor.
This annual event provides clients and friends an opportunity
to support the organization while participating in a fitness
walk. In 2010, proceeds benefited installation of an elevator
at our Costa Mesa office. Annual Dinner:
Participation in our annual Celebration
of Independence. This black-tie optional dinner dance will
also feature a celebration of participant milestones and a silent
auction. Proceeds benefit a priority project identified by Project
Independence leadership.
Major Gift: Major Gift: Donors who
support the organization with a major gift of $1,000 or more
will receive special recognition on our Web site and Year in
Review newsletter, framed artwork from a Project Independence
client, recognition on the Project Independence recognition
display for one year, and invitations to Project Independence’s
periodic donor receptions. Donors who make one-time or cumulative
contributions of $10,000 or more will also be permanently listed
on the recognition display at Project Independence. View
current major gift donors.
Planned Giving: Become a member of
the “I Will”
Club by naming Project Independence as a beneficiary of
your will, trust or planned gift. Members receive a framed membership
certificate and distinctive lapel pin, are listed on our Web
site and Year in Review, and are invited to the VIP reception
held before the Celebration of Independence. |
