Costa Mesa, CA—APRIL 26, 2011. The Board of Directors for Project Independence announced today that sponsors T.V. EARS, FILICE INSURANCE, UNION BANK, EINSURANCE, TOSHIBA and HANGAR 17 are stepping up in support of Project Independence Walk for Independence and Health Fair.

Project Independence to Host Celebration of Independence: A Holiday Ball on December 10
Costa Mesa, CA—October 07, 2010 - . Project Independence, a not-for-profit organization providing services to adults with developmental disabilities, will host its fourth annual Celebration of Independence: A Holiday Ball on Friday, December 10 at the Anaheim Marriott Suites in Garden Grove. The black-tie optional fundraising event will begin at 6 p.m. and feature hors d’oeuvres and dinner, recognition of clients achieving significant milestones, recognition of community leaders who support our mission, a silent auction, client performances, dancing and more.

Project Independence’s mission is to promote civil rights for people with developmental disabilities
through services which expand independence and choice. Project Independence provides supported employment
and independent living services for people with developmental disabilities in Orange County, California as well as
disability benefits planning, and an opportunity for disability travel and recreation through its Access to
Adventures Program. Project Independence also has services available to businesses interested in hiring employees with developmental disabilities and has a special program promoting healthy living with a disability.
