Filice was a major sponsor of this year's Walk for Independence, providing pedometers for the 700 clients participating in Project Independence’s core programs. The pedometers were a big hit with our clients as they work to improve their health through regular exercise.

Ian Rice, an Employee Benefits Broker with Filice, also served on the Walk committee. Ian brings a can-do, “roll up your sleeves” attitude to every project. He coordinated the Walk’s first health fair, working tirelessly to make the event a success. He also brought an entire team to the Walk, introducing them to our mission and our clients. Ian Rice believes that "Our Declaration of Independence speaks of the inherent and unalienable rights all people have to ‘Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.’ Project Independence works to make this fundamental belief a reality by enriching the lives of our loved ones.
